About Matriarch

Brittany Weiner is the owner and founder of Matriarch Renovations, LLC. Brittany taught herself carpentry in college to build furniture that she couldn’t afford on her shoestring college budget. She soon developed a passion for woodworking and teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to begin building homes. In 2013, Brittany got her real estate license and started a successful flipping business in Atlanta. Unlike most residential general contractors, Brittany does the majority of the work herself including the demolition, tiling, plumbing, and custom cabinetry. She believes that women are undervalued and underrepresented in the construction space, and she enjoys running a business that allows her to challenge stereotypes and lead by example. Brittany has a passion for working with her hands, and she enjoys working with her clients to create beautiful, custom spaces.

Brittany lives in Atlanta and can often be found cycling on the beltline with her dog running beside her. She graduated valedictorian from Oglethorpe University. She enjoys craft breweries, true crime podcasts, and spicy Indian food.
